Where does all that food go that Gir eats? Is there some kind of wormhole for food in him? Is he feeding an extradimensional community of beings?

he cannot digest them.
he merely makes room for the mass in his eccentric little body; like emptiing his jet pack fuel tank to make room for the Tuna, or replaceing projectiles with cupcakes (I miss that cupcake)....
the great thing is that he can enjoy them over and over again until they become rotten mush encrusting his inner workings.
